Step 3: On your keyboard, hold the Ctrl and F keys together. A find bar will show up at the top.

However, trying to search comments on mobile can feel a lot harder too. On top of not having any specific option from YouTube, there’s no Ctrl + F button to press either. But don’t worry, I’ve found all the steps you need to find any YouTube comment you’re looking for.

Step 1: Head over to YouTube.com on your browser.

Step 2: Now look for the YouTube video where you want to assess the comments.

Step 3: Go to the comment sectionand load as many comments as you want.

Step 4: Tap on the three dots in the top right corner of your browser.

Step 5: A menu will pop up. Tap on the “Find in page” option.

2. YouTube Comment Search (Firefox Add-on)

YouTube Comment Search is a Firefox extension. It’s one of the only extensions I tried that actually worked pretty well. It’s very easy to use. Just open the YouTube video and click on the extension icon. With just one click, you can find comments related to your keyword.

However, along with its advantages, there are some downsides too. The results per search can’t go over 100 comments, which feels a bit low when you compare it to how many comments some videos can have. Also, showing all the matching comments depends on a few different factors and isn’t always guaranteed.

Using this Firefox add-on is super simple. Just follow these steps and you’ll be able to search comments on any YouTube video in no time

Step 1: Open YouTube Comment Search (Firefox Add-on) on Firefox.

Step 2: Now click on the download button at the top right to install the extension.

Step 3: Once it’s downloaded, open the YouTube video and click on the extension symbol.

Step 4: A search bar will appear. Just type your keyword and you’ll get the results.

3. YCS (GitHub)

YCS (GitHub) is a Chrome extension that you can use to search YouTube comments. It helps you search your keyword from all the loaded comments and shows you the exact comments, so you can actually see who commented it, how many likes that comment has, and how many replies it got too. But there are some limitations. It takes a lot of time to load all the comments, which can be a bit annoying, and it’s a little complicated as well. It took me a few tries to even figure out how it works.

How to Use:

YCS might take a few tries to figure out, but once you get the hang of it, it works great. Just follow the steps below and you’ll be able to find comments on any keyword easily.

Step 1: Head over to YCS (GitHub) and download the Chrome extension.

Step 2: Once it’s downloaded, open the YouTube video. There you’ll see a box under the video. Click on Load All from that box.

Step 3: Once the comments are loaded, type your keyword in the search bar and hit Search.

Step 4: All the comments that include that keyword will appear.
